Congrats buddy,

Sai, you can drive the car at that speeds, and there is nothing like running in period.

Even, I have taken the Emotion Pack 1.3MJD, and the milage was around 3.9L /100 KM with 100% A/c usage.

I could only touch 120 KMPH speed, you know the traffic on the mysore road.

The manoverability is fantastic, even at 100 Kmph at turnings it handles like a thread drawan through the butter. I had felt this when I had My Matiz.

Safe and Happy Driving

( I am different Suresh, than already logged in here )

The engines are pre-aroused but it is advisable not to drive at higher speeds initially.  Please have a look at this thread/discussion.

Jagdeep, Linea is an amazing. It has great rear leg room as well. And the car is very reliable. If you travel a lot go for the Linea diesel or else the Petrol. But Linea is a better option. I had been to the Linea launch party as well. (Yesterday). Great car to go for.

Fiat Linea launched in India is overpriced. i had chcked that in few other countries after my visit the base model is around 5.5 lac while top end model is 6.5 lac and now considering the fact the indian taxes it should be around 7 lac (top end model). Infact the Verna from Hyundai is also overprices the same way as Linea is and it has only bigger engines and no safety features. All automotive manufactures take Indain customers for ride in absence of stright guidelines from government in regards to safety features which should be mandatory for the manufactures to be implemented. saying this Verna (diesel_top end), Fiat Linea (top end) and Dezire ZDi, honda city shld be more or less in same price range

Hey,

I have a Honda city and am most unhappy by the service as well as the car.

Power?? the car's acceleration is way to slow - my santro had more zip

in one year - the windshield broke...god only knows how. My husband went over a stone in the night and the whole lower part of the car was ripped apart and the brakes failed immediately! Mind it we werent in a rally or anything - driving on the noida road (best city roads in the country)

Now latest is that apparently the wiring & a battery terminal is completely ruined and it will take me 12.5k to repair it. They say it will not be covered under warranty as there is a bonnet light installed which has tampered with the wiring - which is not done by Honda. Mind it we only go to Honda dealerships for service and never asked anyone to install a bonnet light!!! didnt even know it was there. Now there is def some hanky panky going on.

I plan to sell my honda (all the trouble they have given me - keeping the car for a week for denting & painting) even two weeks when we went over the stone.

No one in Honda wil even talk to you. The call center says someone "RESPONSIBLE" will get in touch and no one does!!! really bad i tell you.

We are so unhappy that we already bought the car a year ago...should have waited for the linea ((

I heard linea has the same engin which is being used in swift and desire. Maruti I guess are quoting 10000km for subsequent service unlike fiat who are quoting 15000 km. Any comments by experts?
