We can connect/play mobile/i-pod through AUX mode available in the Music System (I do not know further/finer details).

All cars are a little noisier when driven on higher speeds for obvious reasons.  Please post/share your review/experience in detail - it will benefit all . Thanks.

While on paper Linea might look great, what about the performance in reality? Fiat as a brand hasn't been successful in India, plus Japanese cars are considered the smoothest .. Has anyone actually bought the Linea and tested it for days to comment??

Sai-guess the interface is WM driven and there might be issues with symbian phones. Excellent FE there. Dont rip the car yet(130kmph!)-do follow a bit of running in.

@Ankit-'performance' would be subjective. As a car the Linea is excellent-not only on paper but on the road!

I bought the Emotion Variant on 28 Jan 09.  Driven around 1800 Kms, so far.  Linea is not a Driver,s delight.  If you expect a Racy performance, No. It,s not the car for one.  But if you are practical, it gives all.  Mileage is around 16 km/l, on 50% City Conditions with 100% AC on. Breaking is excellent.  High Sppeds rolling and ride quality is excellent.  AC is really good. Rear AC is very Usefull.

Service Intervells are quite good.  Tata people are giving reasonably better service so far as Dealers.

My experience is the car grows around you.  It makes you to love it, with its overall sturdy perfomance, not by peppiness.

I also uses an Innova G4. In Speeds above 120 km/h, Linea is far better than Innova, on stability and controll on turns etc.

Suresh

Welcome Suresh to CarWale.  Thanks for sharing your experience.

Except for peppiness, it has all. The interiors/features are very decent. It's also considered as a VFM (value for money) car.
