It is too early to comment on the resale value of Linea.

I feel resale of Linea (& a few other recent Fiat cars) will not suffer like others have.  The new/recent launches indicate how serious & concerned Fiat is about establishing its market in India.  Servicing will not be an issue with the given tie-up with Tata - quite good.

@ VINAYAK AGRAWAL

The pic of the golden Linea that you had posted is not yours.

That is a pic of 2008 Fiat Linea photographed in Corfu.

Here is the link for the same:

Why are you cheating over here? To prove that you have purchased a Linea, post some other pics of the vehicle too. I want to see them. You started a Linea owners blog even before owning one.

I can prove that the pic is not of your car. You said you bought Emotion Pack variant. But in the pic, there are WHEELCAPS instead of alloys and also there is NO CHROME.

Vinayak, I fear what Nimesh says is true.  For whatsoever reason/s you did so, it's not in a good taste.  Anyway, we don't want to cause further embarrassment to you.  Just be careful in future (here or elsewhere).

Nimesh, can you please share your views on Linea's resale & servicing (Gaurav's concern). Thanks.

@ Vinayak

Buddy, sorry. I think I got a bit hyper on it. I know that you are on Autocarindia forums with name Kayaniv.

Well, I own a Linea Petrol Emotion Pack White colour. It is the first white linea in Delhi. It was delivered to me on 9th April. I am extremely happy with the car. Initially the pickup was slow but now it has improved greatly and doesn't feel different from other sedans. Also I am getting 12 kmpl in city and managed 16 kmpl on the highway which is very satisfactory for me.

I will be sending the car for it first service on 29th June. My dealership experience has been top notch.

Regarding spares?? The inner glasses of both the outside rear view mirrors of my Linea were stolen a few days back. I contacted my dealership for its availability and yess, they were available. But since that dealership was very far from my place, so I contacted another dealership and yess, they also had the spares. I was very happy with the availablity of such small spares. But there was a bigger surprise waiting for me. I had to pay only RS. 380 total for the inner glasses. This is also cheaper than Indica's. I am sure there is NOT going to be any problem with spares.

I hope this will help the perspetive buyers.

@ Pankaj M really sorry i didnt read the terms bforee posting it.. but just to tell u i have to personal motive in advt myblog.. i was just thinking to create a group of FIAT owners so as to escape our fear of the brand.

@Rajnish... Thankx a lot for apperciating my views and sharing a little piece of info. I wud just like to tell u one thing.. pls dont take it oterwise bro... Since u personally know the FIAT's CEO and TATA team ur assured of the service and feel safe and comfortable about it. But many Linea owners like me have opted for this car with their fingures crossed we arent aware of nething and talking about the dealrship exp personaly m not satisfied as still i havent recieved the Registration no.. Code Card.. Body Cover.. Spare headlights lamps..which is by default promised by the dealer.

And the brands image is also continuously there to haunt us. My efforts of creating a group and make it an official 1 is to escape all these fears and make FIAT ownership a Prestigious one unlike the fame it shares in the market today where FIAT owners are look down upon.

I m sure u cud understand my view and i hope for ur support in this initiative. From the blog i just want to create a list of interested owners and then start talks with FIAT so as to improve our ownership exp and above al mouth publicity is best in any business

And on a lighter note incase me or ne other Linea onwers  face ne problems i m presuming u and ur friend in FIAT are awlays there to helpWink

Thankx

regards Vinayak

I own Linea Emotion PK multijet diesal since April and suffering due to very bad ASS of dealer at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

Blue & Me is not working for more than a month and I am told, They do not have Technician. Even I have sent E-mail to CEO but still no technician is available.

Earliar Car's AC brokedown and my dealer returned car without proper repairing. AC brokedown very next day again.

Fuel Tank of my car leaked after few days of delivery and I had to go to dealer twice as he didnot  had the spare tank.

I reside at Barmer, a border town of Rajasthan, known for recent discovery of oil, 200KM. away from Jodhpur.

I had driven 1600 Km, out of total 3000 km, to get my car repaired.

Other wise Linea is very good to drive, comfort and look is marveleous.

with regards

MAHENDRA MOONDRA

Sorry to hear about the bad experience.  They may not give a new car (replacement).  Get all the problems rectified & the parts/spares concerned replaced.  Ensure that it's done conclusively & satisfactorily at FREE of cost under warranty.
