I only wish they head given the 1.4 FIRE with a turbo as well. Though 85bhp is not too bad but taking the Linea (with 1250kg weight) in the Palio 1.6 league will require an engine with 100 plus horses.

But whatever! I love the Linea. I have my belief that this car will sell.

I have seen many of the comments but no one has spoken about the mileage which is very necessary as of today. \

Can any one be there to say anything about the mileage of linea and compatiblity with CNG and LPG

Maybe the 4-5BHP cut in power might have yielded better FE.

Autocar test showed FE of 14-15 for diesel. If I am not wrong. Not much idea about petrol though.

Couple of disappoinments:

No option for ABS / Airbags in lower models.

Hi Guys,

Which would be a better performing Linea .. Petrol or the diesel?? Also does the dynamic pack variant contains blue&me? Has petrol linea launched? I was told by my dealer that it would launch within a week. He said if u r booking in a couple of days the car would be delivered by 20th JAN.

Petrol / Diesel -  We would have to look at two paramaters monthly mileage and budget.

Linea diesel should give a mileage of 12-13kpl in city driving with AC on. I believe petrol engine won't give anything above 11kpl in similar driving conditions. Though both have similar power figures, I believe diesel motor would be more responsive and faster as compared to petrol one.

I believe only Emotion Option Pack has Blue & Me. Dynamic Option Pack has MP3 player and speakers.

@Pallavi and Puneet-i sincierly apologise-the link does go to the official site-since yesterday my browser was directing me to the site front page with just the initial flash program and nothing else-and in the info page on the browser it was showing 'unknown owner'-hence the remark in the previous post.

Again for me the Fiat-India site provides more working links-like price-is it me(again) or did someone else also notice?

Yes, even i observed a few missing links and a few errors being thrown on the http://www.fiatlinea.in/ site.
