Fiat India launches Linea at killer price

i noticed a curious fact about linea,all the countries where linea is launched are all devolping nations,poor countries or are thirld world countries,like india,brazil,turkey,hungary and scores of eastern european countries and not in germany the land of merc benz,switzerland,western europe.why??,is the car made for poor countries?,tailor made to give maximum bang for the buck??,am just curious

Not for poor countries but it depends on the image. In developed economies FIAT is known for small cars and there small cars have big engines. You have a grande punto with 1.9 L turbocharged engine. Also these economies has low end sedans from SEAT, VW, SKODA, Alfa Romeo and FIAT brand doesnt want to compete with its subsidieries.

Lineas are turning out to be head turners specially in maroon.

Noticed three aspects of the Linea:

1) the rear turn indicators are very small and hard to notice in the daytime.

2)the trim surround for the fog lamps looks very tacky.

3)immense road presence-though the frontal and rear looks are quite small.
