15inch 7J rims are fine with 195/60/15 tyres.

Hi Binoy,

I only wanted to confirm that will the 7j size touch the inner ceiling of the car.

Can you also tell me that are the Apollo accelor tyres good enough as my main worry is that  they make too much noise and which is also an inherent problem with appolo tyres.

Also advise as to whether yokohoma tyres good enough as I looking for good comfort and good grip.

Thanks

Abhishek

Hi,

Recently I got my Dzire's tyre upgraded to Maxxis MA Z1 195/55 R15.

Is it the right upsize as the recommended one is 195/60 R15.

The dealer said that 55 is more suited coz on full load the tyre might touch the body if 60 one is used. I m really confused.

Also how good is the Maxxis brand? the thread is really awesome though.

I strongly recommend that you use the tyre calculator on www.tyrestore.in to determine the technically correct upsize. Dont just go by the looks!

Love the drive at 60kmph - constant

I am going to have the Swift VDI few days. I want to resize my tyres for wider one.

Please clear my confusion of help me in making decision.

If I go for MICHELIN  185/70R14 XM1+  will I have to change the rim for wider tyers or else it will fit in or else Will I have to go for alloy.

If I go for 185/70R15 what will be the problem

(Basically I want to upgrade for more comfort drive and performance, correct me if I am wrong.)

OR I should keep the same company tyres and go for alloys (165/80/R14) for looks

I asked the dealer, he told  he will charge 25K for alloys

He told ZDI tyers won’t be available for VDI from company.

If I go for new alloys and wider trers whats best.

185/70/R14   or 185/70/R15  how much it will cost.

Please suggest
