All in good fun, Anil, hope you don't mind! Laughing

Ami's response rounds up what I wanted to say.

1. My current is Bridgestone Tube 165/70/13, Some are suggesting 185/70/13 suggests 175/70/13

The 185/70 section tyres will be quite tall compared to the 165/70 section tyre-so avoid.

!75/70 is acceptable-though 175/65 would be ideal.

@Ami/Krishna - interesting chain of thought! I like alloys because they look good!(personality and all).

Two advantages of the alloys that i have seen(in the real world) are

1)gives better seating to the tubeless tyre.

2) are a bit more stronger than steel rims and resist bending(on potholed roads)-but then there is the issue of cracking!.

Nice discussion Smile

Alloy Wheels are basically for good/better looks.  Good quality/light weight alloys do help a little / marginally in improving the handling, braking & mileage.

I too feel Alloys & tubeless tyres go better together.

Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.
