Will external AC work with alto basic model

Hi ,

I have alto basic model (A non AC alto) . I am looking forward for the installation of any branded AC in the car ,for that i had discussion with different maruti authorised dealers . Every one has their own view for the installation of it which is creating confussion for me . Suggestions are like 

1.) Alto basic model is not build for AC .Alto basic dont have that much EMV ( I don't know this concept) so best you would sell out it and by lx or lxi model .

2.) Go for local AC why wasting money for branded .both will give same performance. 

Please suggest me what would be the best for me to make my car as AC car.

Delhi, its difficult. But I will sugegst you to use Sanden or Super King A/C.  I believe the new Subros compressors are also powerful. (Maruti originally comes fitted with a Subros A/C) but the Sanden and Super King are more stronger and cool the cabin faster, as they have better compressors and blowers.

Pricing differs from area to area. But it won't cost you anything above 25-30k if you fit the best A/C.

Hai......can you help me with fixing the A/c for omni.....badly in need of A/C......

As is discussed erlier in this thread I am still not very sure if the 25-30k spend on ac will be a good value for money...as most of people are not supporting external ac for base modle.

Please  advise me if i shd go for ac as the heat in delhi is unbearable during summers.

Please suggest me the right plcase to fit ac in alto standard in North Delhi............what about Mohan AC in model town..i have heard alot about them..............
