I am using Nokia E71 for last 6 months. Quite satisfied with the features and physical attributes.

feel no need to upgrade at the moment for my current requirements.

Hi ARNV, Sorry for missing a gadget like ace. hope you have taken a data back-up of your contacts and important data.

Meanwhile I have purchased LG Optimus one from Letsbuy.com, last month. It was available at around 10K everywhere, but letsbuy offered at 9500.0 Icing on the cake was my HSBC credit card, which offered another 10% off. So I got it for only 8550.00, delivered at my place free. This phone is awsome as far as performance of processor, display and touch are concerned. And even at the price of 9500, it is a steal compared to comparative model of Samsung i.e. Galazy Fit and Galaxy Pep.

All the best.

It depends upon the contract terms. I have a sony Aino that is branded by Optus Australia. Here, I use it with Airtel and except for the Optus logo on startup and shutdown, there is no remark of the brand anywhere else. If I am not wrong, after the minimum contract period, the phone is unlocked if you wish by the network provider itself.

Some of my cousins have brought in iPhones and have unlocked it themselves. Think there are softwares available online.
