This is great news!

I guess the new Indigo which TATA is working on is going to replace/work aside the IndigoXL. As compared to normal Indigo (LX) i haven't seen much of Indigo XL around. I understand that at close to 7lacs, a buyer would probably opt for other cars which are better built.

I think most of the car manufacturers are under pressure. But with the inflation coming down along with the rate of interest and the fuel price, i think this discount mela may not last long too! As of now even Maruti (market leader) is also affected.

By the way, Indica Turbo & DiCOR models have since been discontinued.

Vista TDi is basically Turbo (same engine & almost same power/torque) with more space/comfort, interiors & features.

DiCOR engine is now used in CS models only.

today when i was surfing news, i heard that car are going to get cheaper as government has cut down excise duties.
