Hi,

Its been a long time since I joined this wonderful forum.
Sri's post made me think about posting a self intro.

Well the name is Ameen, Ameen Abdul Majeed.
Born 25/11/1983 in Dibba, UAE as the eldest. Spent most of my life over there.
My 2 brothers and sis were also born over there.
Studied in UAE till 8th in Indian School Fujairah. Was a lovely time. Living near beach, playing cricket and football in the sand. Catching fish.....Going to game arcade...Cycling...God I miss them.
This is the place where I developed my liking to cars. Guessing the cars by seeing them at distance in school bus. My dad was a bus driver; he also drives for his sponsor. This gave me chance to see all the grand varieties - BMW, MERC, Jaguar. During the weekend dubai trips he showed me other cars. Used to explain me the features of this car, that car.

Mom got fed up of UAE and finally I land up in India. God I hated India like anything. Joined chinmaya vidyalaya. Things changed a lot after that. I started liking India, Kerala, thrissur, thrissur lingo, elephants, thrissur pooram, rush at theatre, kolli-beef from roadside vendor…….

Entrance over, temporary bye bye to thrissur. Welcome to Model engineering college, Cochin. New life, new city, again new friends. Totally new experience. Night outs, parties, show off at computer labs, late night gaming sessions of NFS, age of empires, counter strike, 2nd shows, arts festivals………

College over. off to the company I am placed. Joined Accenture in Bangalore. Shifted to Capgemini (then Kanbay) in Hyderabad. That lands me in Hyderabad where I am since 3 years. If you guys have not guessed it, I am a software engineer.

Hobbies include: Singing, music, movies, reading, computers, mobiles, event co-ordination, driving, chatting(online/offline), photography(not much though)…………………….

I am attached to computers since 3rd. Hardcore gamer. Can sit and play without knowing what is going around and for hours without food and water.

I am a friend’s man, mama’s boy, happy to help person.

This is a shoooort ‘thing’ about me.

Aapne to meri dukhti rag pe haath ched diya
I wa supposed to Join Tech Mahindra on Aug 8,2008.But due to recession(i supppose) they delayed freshere joining indefinitely. So i m khali from June of this year.I m waiting for their call.As the market is closed for frehsers.Slowly the recruitment process is again lifting up.
Meri to aise halat hai jo bhi mujhe carwale pe dikhta hai i say him to fwd my resume.Quite stupid.
I also fwd my resume in Capgemini through Mr Arjun(met him on carwale). But he has not replied in this matter to my mails.
Bus fingers crossed hai.I knw patience was the key in recession. But after 60 months at home,i m loosing it now.

Dont think of it as stupid. Everyone does that. In fact you should knock on all the doors available. Also Keep the spirits alive.

With fresher recruitment now on low, higher studies and professional courses can be advised.
Professional courses at institutes like C-DAC, maintec etc. Most of the companies directly recruit from place like these and also it saves them on training also.

yeh 60 months ka funda samaj mein nahi aaya.

Sometimes a few things are not in our control.  We should never lose hope - will get what is due to us - have patience
