@Rajiv i totally respect your point of view. Our view on cars being different brings the forum alive!

-guess with different point of views everyone gains!!

-my view point to analyze everything(problems with the field of work i think)brings a different viewpoint to the table-what concerns me is the 'attitude' of the car manufactures.

-Hyundai chooses to make the latest car(i10) in India and sell all over the world.

-Ford and GM sells outdated models(however good they are) here while the latest models are offered to the outside world!!-why this stepmotherly approach??

-this is something that really irritates/offends me as a customer and something that i wont be happy to live with.

Besides all this-the i10 wins in this group of cars in this thread purely on the fact that it is a better car than all the others!

yeah i10 is better but I will say i10 is better only when car's price is almost similar Please compare Spark LT Optional with i10 sportz and compare features and Price difference. If one can compromise with little power than first one is clear winner in features and safety. There is always a better car if one is flexible with his budget.... thats what I feel... We started up with Swift VDi/Indigo  and ultimately bought Fiesta... a better car definitely but instead of 5.50 lacs for swift and 6.40 for Indigo LS.... what we spend? 7.53 lacs.... so, a better car ..with better price!

Guys when I joined carwale, I heard alot about the safety features.... even once I was saying that what is the use of Airbags & ABS, I heard alot from members including Pankaj, hahaha... really I am in funny mood... I am writing this coz I am writing only.... you guys cant feel in which sense/mood I am saying this..... yes ...so I heard alot but now If I am recommending Spark LT optional but yet no one is saying..yes additional safety features are always good if one can afford.

Guys am advocating Ford, GM & Tata cars over maruti and sometimes over hyundai too but thanks to god, I used every brand mentioned by me. I am user of all the brands, I am not test driver nor I am the one who surf internet only to check the comparision. I never recommended Wagon-r coz I feel WR is outdated and also, if someone likes WR and wanna buy... he can buy bliendly coz car is trusted He can confuse about other brands but without any doubt Maruti is a great brand with wide service network.

And as far a maintenance is concern Once Again I am providing a link to compare the Part prices of Small Cars, and I cross checked the same in other thread where someone provided parts price comparision of Wagon-r & Santro... check this link and I will wait for comments ... comments on Maintenance.. Link

Guys, I love this website thats why I am here and I always want to provide info to anyone, Like in one thread one said Ford Ikon Petrol's maintenance is high.... I provided the Service detail of Ikon Flair ... 20k service ... if you wish further, I can attach scanned copy of Bills to prove. But when I provided the same, I was happy to see when Binoy said Yes its not high. So, guys what is the difference between a layman and our Pankaj, if both think that Ford is high on maintenance? Tell me the regular service detail of D'zire? its cheap ??? Car to car comparision is good, comparision of Ikon with Maruti Wagon-r?? not worthy!

People dont change when you tell them that there is a Better option... They change when they realise that there is No Other Option..

So, guys what is the difference between a layman and our Pankaj, if both think that Ford is high on maintenance?

Well.. well.. that's an 'allegation' - have a look at your post #6 giving comparison followed by my post & others - also go through the other discussions.

By the way, also have look at this recent post of mine

If you want I can give other references also.

And coming back to my point (with reference elsewhere)... mind/watch your language/words & expressions & false allegations - hope you have gone through this discussionthis discussion.

Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.

The meaningful discussion was turning out to be a disastrous argument. This thread is closed due to this reason. If the thread needed to have more discussions, please start a new thread.
