I've got a Cedia sports which I would like to modify in terms of increasing the power and the torque, suspensions works in making the car more stable around bends and at speeds and also regarding using wider tyres with bigger rims. Where can I get these done in South India? Any answer would be great. Thanks

Dear Dinesh,

We are not much aware with South Indian accessories and modifying shops. We apologize we cannot help you in this regard.

But before you go ahead with these modifications, keep one thing in mind that try to modify car engine as less as possible. Don't do anything that leads to voiding of warranty. Remember, Cedia is quite expensive to maintain and without warranty you might be in trouble.

Dear Dinesh,

We think 215/55 R15 would be the right tyres for your Cedia. Its not an upsize as Cedia already has 15-inch wheels, they are wider tyres instead. If you want to upsize anyway then 215/55 R16 can be an option too. Don't go beyond this as it will badly affect your car's handling.

Thanks for the reply Sharma. Does this mean that I dont have to change the alloys that I already have on the car or do I still have to change the alloys anyway? Does fitting stiffer anti roll bars on the cedia negate my warranty on the car?

Dear Dinesh,

Unless you are too particular about wheels' looks and all, there is no need to change wheels at all. 6.0 JJ x 15-inch Alloy wheels can comfortably house 215/55 R15 tyres. You must discuss the installation of anti-roll-bars with your dealer as we cannot comment much on warranty part and its always better to discuss things with responsible person. However we don't find any reason for warranty voiding.
