Yesterday i happened to see the promo of XYLO on TV, the ad saya " The era of the sedans is over, here comes the XYLO".

Yes that ad is so silly!

Because:

-they are burying their own Sedan-the Logan!

-the Xylo is not a sedan and in most likely hood would look like a box!!

Mahindra is one of my fav companies-but i pray that they wont mess with the positioning of the Xylo.

Finally the suspense is over.

Xylo has shed its camouflage. To me, it looks ugly, I feel as if the designer perhaps lost his orientation and got confused between collating so many cars in a single MPV.

I guess there were three design teams-one for the front one for the rear and one doing the sides-and when all of them got bored they went and did the interiors

Common Guys, you cannot dismis this as UGLY ! It looks OK to me though nothing fantastic to rave about. But the real character of this vehicle seems to be in the interiors. Just saw the 360 degree view on their website and it looks very practical though may not be very stylish. What I hate though is how they seems to have compromised on the safety features - No ABS or AirBags. Common even the i10 has them!!

So the question is who would buy this vehicle? The Taxiwallas or the regular Sedan customers. I'd hate to buy any vehicle which anybody on the road thinks is a Taxi (like the Tavera and the Logan in B'lore). Comments?

Seems like a car born by mixing Tavera and Scorpio.
