My heartfelt thanks to all those who answered my question. We have bought a Xylo E6 3 weeks ago after researching for several months and several test drives. We are presently very happy with the performance of this car. We had owned an Innova for two years. It was a petrol version and the mileage came 9km/l. The Xylo ride quality, space, comfort  is better. The fuel economy is good. My son owns an Alto and the cost of running both the cars is same if we consider the price difference in petrol and deisel.My husband says it is as easy to drive as an Alto.Very smooth steering.Great power and pickup.The BRAKES ARE FINE !Features like reverse assist , puddle lamps,DDAS are very useful.Because of the high ground clearance and good suspension, bad roads and speedbreakers are no problem. AC is very good.Mahindra has provided a great product at a great price. Because of the anniversary celebrations the price has come down by Rs60000 for E6. Our Indian car is seriously challenging a Japanese one ! Hats off to Mahindra !

Xylo is a nice product from Mahindra. It won the MPV of the Year award at the NDTV Profit Car and Bike Awards. It was very deserving for xylo after it took over strong competition from toyota innova and chevrolet tavera in the MPV segment.

@karan.kumar17

Xylo has not just won the MPV of the Year award at the NDTV Profit Car and Bike Awards. It won two other awards which are UV of the Year from the CNBC TV 18 Overdrive Awards and MPV of the Year from Zigwheels Car and Bike Awards.

Apart from that Mahindra's scooter Duro won Scooter fo the Year at NDTV Profit Car and Bike Awards.

Xylo might be an imposing looking vehilce but then again the looks are subjective. Those who want a manly looking beast of a vehicle just love xylo. Rest get impressed with its big presence in size, power and luxury. All in all, it is a good vehicle to invest in.
