how to compare this ??

 this are configuration for mentioned on respective website...
which one is better and how...plz tell me in technical terms

i just wanted to know if i10 gives torque of 111@4000 (Nm@rpm) and a star 90@3500 which one is better? why? why dont they compare on same rpm values??

Torque figures are quoted at the maximum levels.

ie the revolutions at which maximum torque is made is the quoted figure.

The higher torque of the i10 stands out-but the A-star makes max torque at lower revolutions so the driveability will be more or less the same.

This is only part of the story-the real picture for comparison comes with gear ratio's for each cars.

On paper the i10 is better.

 

At lower speed (city drive), I suppose.

Quite so during city drive were the vehicle speeds are lower and hence the lower operating range of the engine revolutions.

As such, with the given difference in the torque & rpm, i10 will have more torque even at any given lower speed.  But like you have said, it would hardly matter - the difference would be negligible (lower speed / city drive).
