This is very mcuh possible if you have mentioned the address of hyderabad in your purchase documents and you have hyderabad address proof. But I think it will be a costly affair because apart form life tax you have to pay some extra tax, which is sometimes very high.

Dear, Thanks for reply.

Yaa, I also came to know that I have to pay around 12% extra as commercial tax.

RTA agent mentioned me that any vehicle not older than 15months has to pay Commercial tax on top of Road tax.  Is it true. Really sad.

Dear All

I am planning to buy a car from Pondicherry and use it in Bangalore (I am a Bangalore resident), as it is cheaper there and the difference is more than a lakh. Do I have to register it here or could I register it there and still drive here? If I have to register it here, what could be the difference amount (approx) that I would have to pay here? Please suggest me other options as well...

Thx...

Roger

I am working in Bangalore. I want to buy a Nissan Sunny diesel and saw 1 lakh difference between Kerala and Bangalore price. Can I buy Sunny from Kerala and get it registered here. After registering in Karnataka, Will the total cost will be more than buying directly from Karnataka. Please reply .

Thanks

Arun
