If you are mileage conscious then speed should be till 100.. Moreover it used to be in earlier times ki when you purchase a new vehicle you were advised to drive slowly as it was said ki " Engine rawa hai" but not now these days.

.....The other question is should i keep my speed below 100 until i cover 5000kms in my odometer ?

Though all cars are pre-aroused these days, there's a running-in period; normally 1000 kms.  During the 'running-in' period one should restrict to the recommended speed limit (normally not beyond 80/90).  The 'running-in' in your case would now be for another/remaining 400kms.

Besides, during the 'running-in' period, I suggest don't drive at a constant speed - keep varying the speed (sometime @ 70, somtime @ 80 etc.).

Hi Buddy,

Well i find the average of your car to be absolutely fine keeping in mind that your car is almost new and hasnot undergone the first service. The exact mileage could only be gauged once your vehicle has undergone the first 3 all important services. At the same time would like to state that the mileage also to an extent depends upon your driving habits. I am sure you got my point.
Regards,
Rubal

I'm neither a Magnum owner/user nor have I driven it above 5K but to my understanding it generally gives mileage of 13/14 in city & 18/19 on highway (depending upon driving conditions & style).
