about raod tax in other states in india

Hi,


 i bought a new car i10 in one state suppose in AP,i want to to drive that in maharashtra , registeed in AP   i need to pay only road tax or anythink has to pay . is NOC is requried . i will be staying for only limited time . how muc ia hve to pay?
i i want to stay long wht should i do ?

Please help me

There's no restriction on using the car in another state for a period not exceeding 3 months.

 

For a period more than 3 months but not exceeding 1 year, 1-year road tax is payable (no re-registration is required).

 

For a period exceeding 1 year, the car has to be re-registered by paying taxes afresh.  For the purpose, you need to get an NOC from AP in favour of Maharashtra & complete the re-registration procedure (Maharashtra) in 3 months from the date of issue of NOC.

Mumbai HC ruling says something else:
