Tata-Fiat dealerships are offering this car with a discount of 70K. Which means the ex-showroom price would come down to 4.9 lacs. This model is offerred with central locking, power-windows and allow wheels. It definitely is a good buy. But is it worth in the long-run (5 years), assume I can afford 10Kmpl fuel economy.

Apart from 10 kmpl fuel economy, can you also afford low resale? If yes, go for this car. There is no other problem with it as such but if resale factor matters for you, consider something else.

What about the availability of spares after 3 years? Fiat would be relaunching Palio but not the Adventure?

Adventure is not being discontinued as of now. Adventure too is quite popular car of Fiat and even if they discontinue it, they will re-launch it very soon. Since it shares same engine as Palio, engine-related spares will never be an issue. Moreover, three years is not worrying time-period for Adventure's spares, Daewoo Matiz got discontinued in 2002 and we can easily find its spares today. You have right to worry only if you want to keep this car for 7-8 years!
