@ Ban, hehe, thanks boss so well i didn't quite do the "dus Khoons" so i m keeping them for the future, how about bees next time Tongue out.

@Dr.Aby, thanks so much ! yes it would have been fun had we met on Sunday itself. but Kartik told me you came from very Far. So next time I'll be on time, pakka!

@Bobin-Thank-you "budddy." ( well, i think 3 d's means good buddies)

@Feroz- Hey, Feroz Me and Krishna were talking about you too that day. Hehe, don't ask me why! But yes, thanks for the wishes and for something else, don't as me Krishna knows !

@Rishita--ahaa feels good a girl (finally on Carwale) wishing you a Birthday! Sure does feel good. Hehe, okay don't run away now. But i was telling Krishna that day, "why don't we have female members in Carwale-Delhi, cheating !!" Well on a serious note its really good to see female members also taking interest in Car's. Of-course most of the girls (from Metro Cities at-least) drive, but girls actually taking interest in CARS is really good to see. oh, and thanks for the wishes !

... hope you read my previous post.

Yes, I did.  Thanks for the kind words.  How can I ever forget you - you are one of the pioneers & a celebrated member, and for the FACT that it was you (& a few others) who welcomed/encouraged me in the Forums with your kind words & gestures Smile

Hi arun...wish you many happy returns of the day, wish you loads of happiness in years to come...guess you have one more year on your side...your excillence in muzik...pure it is like your words...good to know you...take care...

Cool

First of all thanks for your wishes here and your call. I'm touched. My first post after the meet mentioned 'connect', one person picked up on it. Maybe that's the person it was written for.....lol. It was.

Two wishes really touched me today, one for its purity and innocence and one for its content. The later came from a close friend who is quite fammiliar with my way of thinking and thought I would like the msg, loved it.

SMS reproduced verbatim:

" Happy Birthday, I'll be there on the 10th. Just thought you would find the following up your alley:

Man in God's Shop - " Lord what do you sell?"

God - "Whatever your heart desires, my son."

Man - "Please give me Peace, happiness, prosperity and freedom from fear."

God - " I'm sorry my son. I only sell seeds, I don't sell fruits".

The real meaning of this is not that you should plant good seeds (correct and simple thinking) to bear sweet fruits for yourself. Rather, its meant to imply, that if you truly test it and see it work, then you will pass it onto your kids and they will do it with their kids.......

doc, I'll always be there for you.

@ Pankaj , that's just soo sweet of you. I shouldn't be repeating it again and again or it might be edited by You (hehe, kidding) , but we all are glad we welcomed you and had those late night "Car's and hmmm's" sessions with you, or else  "THE Pankaj " wouldn't have been @ Carwale, and every1 knows how it was without you , even though just for a very short while !

@ Arun, that's a very nice message.

And before this post mine is declared OT, let me just add on to one more thing to what Doc Aby said- ( quoted by Arun in the above post )--

"guess you have another year on your side", Arun boss, with way your music goes on, I'd say you have another "ear" too. An Ear for Music !

Cheers !

Arun, extremely sorry for not announcing your birthday(completely slipped by me)-(thanks you Ban!).

Many many happy returns on your birthday!(belated).

P.S- we both Banwari and myself realize the amount of effort put in by Pankaj on the forums in situations like this-our appreciation to him on the excellent effort here!

Not really.  That's because Arun by-the-way declared his BD during the course of discussion in the Delhi Meet thread, wherefrom Rishita picked-up & was then noticed by Banwari & the rest of us.

The fact is that it's indeed sometimes difficult to remember/recollect the BDs mentioned/discussed in the forums, and we have missed it on a couple of occasions in the past.  It’s embarrassing.  I hope we have the BDs mentioned below the Avatars or have a system devised to remind/announce automatically.

Very true.  That's how the generations evolve/advance.

It reminds me of a quote (had read it somewhere)... Children begin by loving their parents.  After a time they judge them.  Rarely, if ever, do they forgive them.

Personally, I have always believed (this is not a quote)… All parents love their children & are well-wishers.  But not all are able to be good friends, philosophers & guides.  Let’s all be so.

Arun, that SMS / BD wish to you is indeed touching.

@Feroz- Hey, Feroz Me and Krishna were talking about you too that day. Hehe, don't ask me why! But yes, thanks for the wishes and for something else, don't as me Krishna knows !

Please reveal the something. What ever it is, no problem.

First option is acceptable only to members of the age of Karan. I don't want to be remembered daily about the aging while looking at my avatar. The second one is acceptable.

True. Birds of same flock. Thanks. Now I know you better.

In either case - Avatar or announcement (auto) - we will have dd/mm only.
