Omni 5 seater LPG

hi, i plan to buy an omini LPG 5 seater variant. can you tell me about its on road performance, fuel efficiancy etc? any specific problems associated with it which i should be worried about? any input would be appreciated thanks

Maruti Omni is fantastic car. Gives you 18-20kmpl easily. Power is enough to drive the car. Cheapest at maintenance and has resale. LPG variant is similar to Petrol one but has a factory fitted LPG kit. You will save a lot in fuel prices. The only problem in Omni I find is it doesn't come with AC

Hi Sanjoy, As satish has mentioned Omni is really a value for money vehicle.It has roomy interiors and yes u can load it up with lot of cargo..ideal for long distance drive. I have noticed one best thing of omni.. when u load up the vehicle, it really makes ur drive smooth and gives u much more control on vehicle.. Yes if Ventilation is only one problem in this vehicle. You will really suffocate while driving in rainy season with all windows rolled up... If Maruthi can provide a solution to this problem (again we consumers are ready to pay for it)..then Maruti Omni will be the best bet on Indian roads for a typical Indian family. Mind again..this vehicle is not showing how fast u can drive a four wheeler. You maintain decency on Speedometer and u will see a decent performance from the vehicle..
