Cheapest 4 X 4 SUV ?

Which is the cheapest 4 x 4 SUV available in India. I have gone through the feature list buy carwale mention no where if the SUV is 4 x 4 or not. Only higher models of safari above 10 lakhs are 4 x 4 which is out of my range.

I plan this car for my off road trips in rough weather in Himalayas. Any suggestions ?

u can get 4 x 4 in scorpio getaway . It is a pickup truck with 80ltrs. fueltank capacity and a scorpio head. its a five seater.

the 4x4 suv u can get is the safari, scorpio & above & none will come under 10lacs. if u want a good 4x4 vehicle than ull have to stretch ur budget or else ull have to look for some secondhand one.

I think the cheapest 4X4 SUV is Safari DiCOR 2.2 VTT (16-value DOHC).  It's a 7-seater & priced at Rs.12.15 lac (ex-showroom, Mumbai). 

 

It has 2179 CC engine that delivers 140ps of power @ 4000rpm & 320nm of torque @ 1700rpm, and generally gives mileage of 10/12 in city & 14/16 on highway.

Yes, the cheapest SUV is Tata Safari, so if you want to buy a 4X4 SUV than you have no option but to stretch your budget or else you can check out any used Tata Safari.

I think Tata safari is the best option but may be I have to look for second hand version.

i would suggest u to stretch ur budget & go for a new car, u can buy safari EX & i think u can get discounts too on it.

 

these type of cars are better to be owned new.
