Ami,

The thread started by Endless has been merged in to this thread based on your post - thanks for pointing out.  But unfortunately / inadvertently your post got deleted.  I'm so sorry for that.

You had also thanked Endless for the info he has shared herein above (specifications).

Previously I had registered my interest on official Honda Jazz website – Based on that yesterday I received a call from Honda dealer in Bangalore – As per the conversation with him, I got to know that

·          Jazz will be in showroom on 10th June

·          Bookings are now open and one needs to pay INR. 50,000/- to book the vehicle.

·          Price is still not announced – He has indicated on road price of 7 to 7.25 lakh (Ex show room price of 6.25 to 6.5 lakh)

·          Delivery will be definitely in June if booked before 31st May.

·          Waiting period for Black and white colour will be more than a month.

So the price details are almost clear now – Is it worth is a question mark. What do you say?

I have delayed my car purchase and am waiting for Jazz’s specification and price details before taking final call. My requirement from my new car is

·          Petrol only as my usage is limited –(around 500 KM a month – mostly in city)

·          Family of 3 (including my girl child)   – and occasional use of rear seats

·          Total Budget of 6.5 lakh ( so Honda Jazz will be bit of a stretch)

·          Good mileage, hassle free service and low maintenance.

·          I will be using the vehicle for more than 5 years.

If not Honda Jazz, I am planning to go for Hyundai Ascent or Ford Fiesta. Looking forward for your expert advice.
