yeah i hv been refuelling da tank always from da day i purchased it...acha tell me sumbody told me tank full nahi karwana chahiye..bcoz petrol gets evaporated every day...mine is also a new car..so according to dis survey it sud not hv any mileage problems....and if da survey is correct den da company's establishment of 15+ average for i10 is false...

15 + avg is all cheap system of advertising ......

rememebr ....Ford Fiesta giving 30 kms per litre !....haha....go ask a Fiesta guy if his Diesel model gives him d same ?...he'll think u're crazy !!!.......

Boss I feel there is nothing wrong with the car, but there is some confusion due to the fule topping method. I suggest you must get the tank full once, run for 200 km & try this twice. This only will give you exact AVG idea. Dont refule it for 100 km .

Secondly its always better to keep the tank full rather then keeping it half empty. Try this & I am sure you will get the perfect milage . if in proper city then you must get Min 10, on highway min 14.

This thread is slowly loosing its charm-guess everything that needs to be discussed has been discussed-or maybe the thread name can be changed to 'general fuel average queries' or something like that and discussion could be carried on-just a thought.

abt the name of the thread....even i was thinkin......maybe sumthin of this sort cud happen.......

1stly...the name of the thread is like ....."Avg Prob in i-10 Era..."...now does dat mean ...it doesn't apply for I-10 MAgna !!!......?..i kno its technically correct to discuss the I-10 Magna too.....bt considering the name of the thread......maybe its not rite !!........

d above was just an example.....

i recently bought an i10 spoetz...i have done only 600 km with it yet.But the problem is i am getting only 10km per liter(overall). as the car is yet to go for its 1st service, can any thing be done to increase mileage. i don't drive at fast speeds..only around 60 kmph. hyundai had promised about 14kmpl in city and 17kmpl in the highways. they have marked best speed b/w 30-50 kmph on the speedometer. is it best to drive at 50kmph on top gear ???
