cost of installing AC in maruti 800

u can install AC in m800 its not an issue. i think it would cost u around 15-20 thousand but would like to suggest u one thing. as it will not be as a company fitted so as ur car is 4yrs old & m800 has good resale value, so would suggest u to go to a maruti dealer & exchange ur car for a new m800 with AC which will be a better option if u can afford.

u will have to pay a little difference & u will get a new car too.

so if u can afford would suggest u to exchange & buy a new one or else u can get AC fitted from outside.

but than too atleast go one to a maruti dealer & ask him price for a new car as big discounts are going on at present & take out the value for ur old car & now m800 is available with company fitted lpg too so if u opt for that option that ull save on fuel bills too & save the environment too.

In my opinion, one more thing while installing AC in a non-AC car would be the battery strength. I think the AC unit draws a lot of energy from the battery. So while installing AC it is better to go in for a stronger batery. This could be an additional cost.

installing an AC in 800 would not save any purpose i had been driving 800 ac and I always found it better driving without AC on. The AC in 800 in not at all effective and setting one would cost you near about 25 k see if you should really invest in such and repent later.
