Indica Vista....Changes Everything

will go for a test ride tommorow........if found gud...its wednessday tommorow will drive back vista with my advace booking check of 21k for swift vdi(abs) frm maruti dealor if not....then we dnt have any option other then to wait....!

Definitely Vista is offering more, Swift is good but Rear wash wiper and Defogger is missing even in VDi and I really dont understand why? Both r very important in rains specially. Its really very difficult to drive if its raining without defogger and rww. Overall package of Vista is very good.

@Pankaj, we already upgraded Xeta's tyres with 175 65 R 14 and I can feel the difference.

@CK, take a test drive with family members and if you find Vista is better den you can easily cancel the booking of Swift and you will definitely get your booking amount back from the maruti dealer.

vista looks very good when compared with the old indica. it looks new, fresh, upmarket & modern. its interiors have gone a full make over & now it looks very fresh. if u go with the top end aura than u get everything.

specially u get rear wash & wipe, rear defogger & 2din mp3 player addition to the swift vdi.

u get more space & comfort than the swift. if u go with it than better go with the 1.3ltr quadraget, its the best engine option to buy & delivers same performance as swift.

The main difference between swift and vista is rear seat space. If only your childs are going to sit at back, then go for Swift because Maruti is a more dependable name. But if adults have to seat at back then Swift is out of question as its rear seat space and boot space is similar to m800 (even less than WgnR). Where as Vista rear seat space is equal to Honda city, even much bigger than Fabia.

Driving pleasure and finish of both car is similar. Mileage I still think will be marginally better in Swift.

mileage will almost be the same for the both & even tata is being dependable. it has improved in past 2-3 years & is still going on improvising.

with vista's lauch it has a great potential to defeat swift.

tata's service is now good as compared before & is still being improved & tata's are day by day producing better products & in future also the same trend will continue.

if u compare overall i felt vista much better than the swift.

yes the point touched by of was making me confused from the day vista launched...!

yes my rear seat passenger are my lil bro and my mom being of avg height 5'6'' and 5'0'' respectively.....!

for once we can compramise on rear seat comfort but car should be dependable as we are purchasing the new car specially for a highway run...!

so maruti having the gr8est service network in india wins the competion i think....but still i have time to redecide...so wat should be my nxt step...!

By the way, besides more space/comfort, Vista's ride-quality has to to be better / more planted to roads, as it weighs 65 kgs (kerb weight) more than Swift & has bigger wheel base by 80mm.  Suspensions too (front & rear) are better than Swift's.
