Indica Vista with 1.3 multijet Diesel engine will be great competition to Swift.

But, the petrol one seems very much underpowered. It's just 64BHP for it's 1070+ kg weight.

if u forget maruti's name & compare swift & vista than vista scores the ground as it is more spacoius infact most spacious of the lot, gives same performance, better mileage too, has nnew interiors which fells good inside & if u go with the aura the top end model than u get everything including 2din mp3 player & rear defogger which swift doesnt offer.

vista would be a better buy. & abs & airbags are in the line.

carKrazy, go for Vista - it will give almost same mileage.  Extra space/comfort & better interiors/features would be added advantage.

Yes, it has 14 inches tyre. I just checked - the data I had referred to last night, has since been updated/corrected
