Indica Vista....Changes Everything

I have researched on the new Indica Vista. It looks really cool..completely spruced up..with a tagline...which goes as..."Changes Everything". The car is really good looking. The quadrajet with fiat engine will be a hit. But will be a direct rival of sibling Fiat Grand punto.

Top-end variant (Aura - MJD) is priced at 4.99lacs ex-showroom Mumbai. That looks really exciting. Details @ Tata Motors website LINK. Interiors look better. Steering adjust finally comes to Tata small cars (on the MJD & FIAT petrol version). Hopefully sometime in near future we would also have ABS & Airbags as an option.

Bhushan, pricing .... Very Exciting .... very soon I will try to take a test drive.... two tone dashboard looks great.... atlast dashboard change hua Overall .. car looks great!

Yesterday I see the car and also sit inside it at Tata dealer here. Its great. Inside space is bigger than Fabia, Swift, Getz, Fiesta. Finish is also at par with Swift, Getz, Fiesta. Little below Fabia. But at this pricing the Quadrajet model will be a killer. Expect big doscounts from others , very soon.

Yeah, very soon we will see Huge Discounts from others... The reason for Swift Diesel's success is ...Engine... and with Same engine .... Indica Vista.... ofcourse with Decent Interiors and better space den Swift.... definitely it should be first choice coz the service network of Tata is not bad and they are improving day by day.

yes its a great  car launched by tata & with fiat's 1.3ltr diesel its a great car as the performance is same as swift with great interiors, much spacious with all the festures which swift lacks. & abs & airbags are in the line.

swift better watch out.

Yes, if the performance of Vista turns out to be on expected lines, which it would in all probablity, it will be preferred ahead of Swift mainly on account of space/comfort - as scuh, Indica has always been more spacious & comfortable than Swift & others too.


Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.

Would like to add here that i noticed the following while comparing these cars as regards Max Torque. Swift D has 190Nm @ 2000rpm, Getz Prime D has 235Nm @ 1900rpm, Palio D has 184Nm @ 2000rpm and finally Indica Vista D has 190Nm @ 1750rpm.

 

I feel this could make a difference. Nowadays for city driving we hardly get opportunity to go beyond 1500rpm/2000rpm. I guess in this range 1500-1800rpm, Indica Vista would with much better response, give better feel. Steering adjust would be another plus for the Indica Vista (like Getz). Especially while driving in the 3rd/4th gear.

Guys I went there for Test Drive but they told me that Vista is for Display only and I can take TD after 27th only. They dont even know the Price here in lucknow, what they told me its should be around 5.25 lacs on road for Aura (Top model).

 

The car was there .. Noble blue... I dont like this color very much but I checked it .... Plastic quality is not upto the mark but 2 tone ... decent interiors, Adjustable seat and Steering is good. Storage space is good, New headlights looks cool... MP3 player is there, though I havent checked it, instument cluster ... well I like it even in Spark and thats why I like it in Vista also... not a problem and its something very fresh and very good.

 

The point you mentioned Bhushan is good, mostly city use ... Vista will give much better response.
