@ sanjay,

about the cashless ownership offer rajiv has explained u.

just comfirm with ur dealer that it is included as of now it is included in the onroad price but than too confirm & if the dealer says no than bargain it for free as it is a great offer & offers peace of mind for next 3 yrs. u can even bargain for 3yrs warranty.

as u said u r getting a discount of 50k on LS than u must also get it on LT. if u get discount on LT also than compare & can go for the LT than its good else LS is also very much fine.

Thanx rajiv & Deepak. The dealer offer says "On and above the special pricing of Rs.10,73,362/- we will be  also offering CPCOO along with the purchase of the car in the month of October - 2008".

Please let me know what u interprete of it in terms of inclusion on Total Mnt Cost & COO. Looks like COO is included, right? But what abt TMC ?

How much money can be saved on the Magnum by not option for the 'cashless ownership'?

As a part of bargain, Cashless Offer / Extended Warrranty is offered without a cost - it was offered to me recently when I was enquiring about all the details (provided in the LINK before).  Total Maintenance Cost is presently, for Magnum, 27K (26999).

I will check with the dealer on any possible reduction over and abv 10.73L on the LS if COO is not opted for to know how much they are charging upfront for the cashless service..will keep this forum posted..

The 50k discount with CPCOO is avlbl on LS black only, so I guess this combination is not fast moving - perhaps black is difficult to maintain and these days cars w/o ABS/airbags are not so popular among high C/ D segment car purchasers. But I am willing to compromise on both for a good deal and good power/ride quality.

@ sanjay,

50k discount with the COO offer included in the purchase is a good buy but see too it that why he is giving discount only on a particular car, if the discounts are going on than it should be on any variant & on any colour. just check it out, if u intend toi buy this car than to check it before buying it for ur peace of mind.

else everything seems fine & it is a good buy.

u can ask him also for the same amount of discount on the LT model, if u want or just atleats ask him than see wat he says.

To the best of my knowledge, Total Maintenance cost is a promise and a fix upper limit, if one dont want to go for COO, TMC is always available. Like in Spark's case its 12999/- and when I bought COO was not available, but 12999/- is upper limit and GM will refund any amount over this limit of 12999/- in 3 years/45000 kms. I havent paid anything for TMC, this is assurance of GM only. Now u know the upper limit of maintenance for next 3 years/45000 kms.

@Binoy, I guess you asked in another thread about this TMC, If I will spend more than 12999/- in next 3 years/45000 kms. GM will refund that amount.

And I havent paid anything for this TMC, even you can buy, I remember Pankaj mentioned this thing way back by saying that this is upper limit and generally maintenance of all the small cars are less than that, this is for peace of mind coz generally people use to say that GM's maintenance is high, now you know the upper limit so you can sleep peacefully for Next 3 years/45000 kms. atleast.
