I am planning to sell my new Santro Car which i bought last year as am moving to other city. I had bought this car on loan, as of now i have repayed more than half of the loan EMIs and i still have replay less than half the loan amount to the bank. Right now am planning to sell my car as moving out of town. What is best way to sell my car ? Prepay the remaing the laon amount and sell the car or can i sell my car first and prepay the laon amount later. Please suggest

Normally the loan is required to be repaid first so that, based on the NOC issued by the Bank, the car can be transferred in the purchaser's name  (Bank will issue NOC only after liquidation of the loan).

Alternatively, you could strike an understanding with the purchaser to repay the loan amount directly in the Bank (& pay you that much less).
