Hope someone is able to post the figures/charges etc., as desired by you.  In the meantime, go through the general information discussed before.

Hi,

You have to wait 3 years to convert the T permit to private from the date of registration. Consult a good RTO agent who can help you in this. If you are working in a company, try to collect a certificate from the company stating that you have already paid the professional tax for each and the current year, this will save your money up to an extent at the time of convertion. Currently, the process of mine is gong on-and please remeber that you have to pay 7% of one time tax based on the value of your car based on the amount mentined in the original invoice. The time taken for the whole process will be approx. 15-20 days.

Hi Gaikwad,

The case with me is reverse. I own a June 2010 Indica with private number.

I am desperately looking to convert it into commercial and get a T-permit. Not sure, but a open thought. I am open even for kind of a exchange of car since yours and mine are of the same year and almost same time.

If you think this is viable and you are intrested, please do get in touch with me ASAP.
