Sameer

Get an NOC from your city (HYD). This NOC is valid for 6 months. You can drive your car any state for 6 months. During this 6 months period, please get a PUC (Pollution Under Control) test done from the state (Karnataka) where the car will be driven. PUC will cost you around 80 Rs/- in b'lore.

Every 6 months once go back to your city (HYD) & renew or apply for a new NOC... this will be simply and you will not be charged anything.

If you want to pay road tax, you can but this will be charged based on the time (1 year etc).

My advice is get a NOC and drive your car without fear....

Hi All,

I have bought a Ford Ikon 2004 September. This is MH - Pune Registered and I am a Bangalore Native. I want to use the CAR in Bangalore. The owner is a CEO of a company and he has been transfered from Pune to Bangalore. Please guide on how should I go about the Process. He does not have the NOC for the CAR.

REquest your guidance on DOCUMENTS TO BE COLLECTED, FORMS TO BE SIGNED AND ALSO IF NOC IS NOT AVAILABLE. THEN HOW TO GO ABOUT? Looking for immediate advice.

NEED IMMEDIATE HELP.

Thanks and Regards,

Adit

Dear All,

I am getting transfered from Mumbai to Bhubaneshwar.

I own a Honda City-2002 model and want to drive it along to Bhubaneshwar.

Firstly, Do I require a NOC from Andheri RTO??

Secondly, I have heard that a NOC is not required if its a private vehicle and if the ownership dosent change. In this case its required to visit the RTO at Bhubaneshwar and fill up the 1 year road tax. After filling the road tax the vehicle can be driven freely.

Kindly let me know which is the right solution.

Need it urgently.

Thanks and Regards

@Abhi, welcome to carwale family

NOC is very much required even if you want to pay the tax for one year. however remember that after one year your car, if caught would be treated as offender as its plying on Orrisa road without paying tax. If you are moving permanently to Bhubhneshwar, its always better to get NOC from Mumbai and get your car re-registered in Orrisa.

Those who claim that they know everything do not know what they dont know.

Thanks Anshu for the warm welcome.

Acutally I am in a transferable job and in such a case its difficult to change the no every time.

Can it be possible that I go to Bhubaneshwar without taking a NOC and pay the 1 yr tax in Bhubaneshwar.

After a year is completed I would again pay the annual tax and keep on. Or is there any other way??

Hello

I got my bike registered in Hyderabad, I transferred my bike to banglore three years back.

I obtained NOC from Hyd RTO three years ago. I have neither got karnataka Registration number nor paid road tax.

Now i want to pay road tax as well as get the karnataka Registration number. Is it possible to get that? How?
