Buying Fiat Palio Diesel

Hi All

I've got a deal to buy Palio 10/2003 Diesel for 1.70.

I heard TATAs would give service and support fro FIAT in india. Is it a safe

bet to go for deal. I'm very much enthusiastic about the car's power and fuel

efficiency since its a diesel one. But afraid about the maintenance. Will be a

struggle to get the spares. Will tatas provide proper service for fiats. I heard

a lot of complaints of the tata car users. Experts, please suggest.

Its better to buy Palio diesel 04 model , as i heard there was prob wid 03 Palio D , and it was rectified by Fiat on 04 , so better get the 04 Palio D, Power is decent and good , milage is around 13- 14 in city and 16 in highway

I dont think Tata does the servicing for Old palios ! i mean they service only for New plaio stile and palio Stile MJD!

Spares may not be a problem at all

I would prefer the Palio D 04 model for around or below 2 lakhs!
