i would like to add that both the cars are not great lookers-the dzire more so-has odd angles and a narrow green house.

the problem with the Logan is that it looks dated and appears built to a price.

If I were to choose from the two, I would prefer Logan ahead of Dzire for Space/Comfort/Suspensions.  Driving pleasure isn't as good as Dzire's but it isn't bad by any standard.


Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.

since the topic is on the best diesel car i suggest you look at the Ford ikon 1.4 diesel as well.. it looks better than the Desire / logan and has good performance. other thing is that its cheaper than the logan and comfort is good.

Ikon is cheaper than the Logan and Dzire-performance is a different issue-the Swift/Dzire scoring on that front.

Palio, like you stated, is indeed a  good car.  Maintenance & service will not be an issue cosidering the support of Tata.

I would suggest, though you may not like the looks of Logan, just test-drive it - it's a good car with lots or space & comfort, like I've stated before.

My one friend has ruled out Logan Because he hears that Spare Parts and ASS is not so good for this car , I have test Driven thsi car with my friend , This is really spaciaous and boot Space !!!!!!!!!!! great , Dicky itani badi hai ki  Emergency me ek-do ko usame bhi ghusa sakte hai ... just kidding but it's really great. Is it true that Logan does'nt have good ASS and Spare parts availability and Less service centres and someone told my friend  that not sure Future me isake Spare parts milenge ki nahi...
