Hey Good news !

I got the delivery of my SWIFT VDI yesterday in Midnight Black. Thanks to all who helped me in my decision.

I just LOVE the car and i took the family out for a drive and surprisingly there was not difficulty in sitting at the rear seat.... Drive quality is superb.... May be i'm feeling joyfull because i was driving an Indica and i can't even think of comparing it with Indica and now wonder why was i driving an Indica for last 5 years ;)

I was thinking of going for Dzire as well but due to wait time i went for Swift and i think it was a good decision....

Thanks a lot to all fellow bloggers.... You guys are a STAR !

Guys now you dont need to worry about Dzire delivery just rade in news paper (Yesterdays newpaper) there was an ad by Maurti Dzire that if booker dont get its delivery within 16 days of booking then he will get 12% interest rate on booking amount till he gets delivery letter. They also increased the manufacturing amount they say the demand of it was too high  so this problem occured.Iam from Chennai i think here the problem will get solved dont know about other cities...

Regards,
Ashish

Hi guys , can u please let me know about this ad , i mean which newspaper u read it?

This Ad comes in all newspapers and even if you dint read , you can surely ask your dealer, 12% intrest rate Per annum after 16 days of booking !

Anyways something is better than nothing though you wont get a good amount!

Cheers,
Sri

Sorry, I beg to disagree a little.  I've driven both the cars substantially & would not rate them bad.  They are good in themselves - very spacious & comfortable and Logan, in particular, is very fuel efficient & has the best suspensions (just right for our type of roads).

It all depends upon ones budget, preferences, likes & dislikes, type of usage/run etc. etc., which fortunately for the manufactureres differ from person to person

Hi everyone,

LOGAN is a nice car to own. Pls do not judge book from its cover. have a test drive. its a solid car with very good economy. Also is most spacious & rides much better then mention cars.

Dzire is good looking car , with good economy & reliable maruti service back up but wht abt the comfort. Spending 7 laks wht u get us bunch of features wht about comfort, space & ride.

if comport, space and ride is not the imp agenda then go for swift.

You can check logan spare part price it is near about same. so when u get good economy with space comfort & ride..why not logan. Looks & interior are very much ok. but again tht is outer appeareance.

I too have regards (as stated before) for Logan in particular for its space/comfort & the ride-quality/suspensions but the looks are disappointing (no offense meant).  Though it's a matter personal choice, it's observed that majority feel so, and in any case, do not rate the looks as good.
