dont do it. swift doesnt have any problems with ground clearance. Never increase the OD of the tire beyond limits (+/- 3%) it may turn dangerous as well as lose of cover by insurance

Thanks...

One more Question what is the difference between 165/80 R14 (VDI) and 185/70 R 14 (ZXI) tyres.

Can i change to 185/70 R 14 for my VDI Vehicle. If yes which tyres are best?

What will be the mileage impace of the tyre change?

Thanks,

Aravind

only difference is the width of the tyre is 165 mm and 185 mm. in both the tyres, the OD is almost same. Yes you can very well use both, even without any loss of warrenty, since both are being used by the manufacturer. The best, amongst the two is definitely the wider one, ie, 185 70 R 14. It gives u more grip, better looks and better breaking. go for it.

I'm planning to change and upsize my Swift VDi stock JK 165/80/R14 to 185/70/R14. I've done close 13K on the odo. I have a few querries:

1. Amongst Michelin XM1+, Yoko A-drives, and Bridgestone Turanza ER60, which has an overall better comfort level, low noise, good handling capabilities. Also, which is a good VFM?

2. If I do go for Yoko A drives, can anyone help me to compare them with the more premium Yoko C-Drives? Would it be worth spending that extra amount?

3. Any pointers towards a good Yoko Tyre dealer in Delhi/Noida region? Please share experiences.

4. How much should I expect for my set of 13K old JK stock tyres in exchange?

OT: What is a decent Tyre pressure, that should be maintained on the Swift VDi (Front & Rear), considering my daily drive is about 65Kms city, and 65Kms Highway. (My office is faaar!! Frown)

An early reply would be highly appreciated. Cool

Thanks

Anant

Hi Guys I am getting my new swift vdi(white) in two weeks..Planning to go for 14" alloys.I en-quired  few shops in bangalore and impressed by one of silver alloy (cost quoted Rs 16000/- for set of 5), but its from STALLION brand. I never heard about that brand. Now I am confused whether to go for that brand or look into other well known brands like HR, platti, lenso,Aura,etc.. Please clarify me regarding this.

Even 15" is available in this design.

Chosen Alloyalloy
