I have bought a new fiat palio NV ELX in august 2006. It has run for only 1600 Kms. Is it advisable to go for an LGP conversion in a brand new car? If so which kit is best for Fiat Palio? (Lovatto or any other brands?)

And how about MINDA-IMPCO kit? They claim their kit gives a better power.

Dear Prasad,

Are you aware with the fact that installing LPG-kit in a new car will void its warranty? If you are not then let us tell you that your car's warranty will void the instant you go for the kit. If you want to install it anyway, buy anyone, all international brands are good one. Lovato is the best around though. Minda-Impco is good too, claims are claims, they don't hold much value as such. Ask the workshop guy for better compatibility and get one fitted as per his recommendation.

Hey Prasad,
I agree with Mr. Sharma recommendations. I would also like to add one more point,
The workshop who fits this should be able to get you warranty and insurance too. So though you may buy the best unit, but if the installation is upto the mark, then its no fun.
I have installed a longas italian kit, and paid a high price for it, but the price went towards getting me a dependable warranty and insurance with all the bells and whistles. Let me know if you are intrested, give me your mail id, i will send you the guys contact details. He actually does retrofitting for a big car dealer. And is a nice and helpful fellow, infact you can ask him for contact nos of people who have installed it, and you can directly speak to them.
