Car Speakers: ICE Setup : Maruti Swift

Hello Guys,

Really nice to see a great discussion going here, I would like to seek some help from you guys.

I recently bought a used Swift Vxi with ABS, it has a Sony Head Unit which has aux input as well as CD, FM and so on, It does not have USB though...... I mostly play using my iPhone/iPod/Blackberry, I have a few CD;s too but i dont really like burning discs. the output on the Sony says 52x4. and there are 4 speakers on the doors of my swift, which when checked were Boston speakers, not sure if they are components or coaxials. Ok, so here is what I feel of the audio system as a whole, it sounds good, but I mostly listen heavy metal, rock, blues and ofcourse hindi songs as well, What I want is a system that can deliver good tight Bass (I hate the lousy or loose bass from subwoofers), So I would like to know what to go for, I am fine with only 4 speakers and no sub woofer provided it gets me punchy bass and not loose low end. I would also like to spend as less as possible. Please advice of any good options? Will swapping the speakers with new JBL or Pioneer etc speakers do? I am not sure which ones are what, so would need really detailed information with model numbers and price as well please

My wife was asking for a double din head unit. My friends suggested go for Alpine head unit and polk speakers.

U guys are the best. please suggest.

I am very happy with my first system. It only has one problem with the volume around 25 the plastic panel on the door makes a noice. i was checking the forums and they suggested doing the damping on the doors using yoga mats. also one thing i didnt mention. you guys always say use good cables.... in my old setup they used the cables which was already there in the door. means they didnt ask me to get the cables. waiting for a reply

Hi to all the friends here... u guys are doing a gr8 job in updating peoples knowledge about music and market... m really a fan of this site now. i hve seen best suggetions out here... might b thats wht confused me.. its  like lil knowledge is a dangerous thing so i need ur valuable suggetions to get new ICE setup for my swift diesel vdi 2011. my budget is AROUND 40,000 and ll i want is the best crip clear sound even at full volume bcz i love electronic and trance mucis ... m planning to get 2 Kicker L7 solobaric 10inch woofers .. so i want thr optimum use plz tell me the best speaker combinations and AMP i was thinking of ALPINE MRP-M1000 MONO 1000W suggest me the full ICE for my woofers which m goin to buy when u suggest. thanks @Binoy.Thomas & Ami
