music system - company fitted - maruti dzire

Hi Friends ,

M new to carwale.and forums..as want to buy a new car m planning for swift dzire vxi .

can any one give the the review music system inbuilt provided with this model ..actually wanted to fit music system of my own choice but now as it is coming with this model i have no option

kidly give me the review of how the company fitted music systems are ... is it okay shall i proceed further assuming that music system will be good and as such no problem with that

The music system is manufactured by Nippon Electronics - It is a Japanese company which has an assembly plant near Delhi.

I don't think that this should really be a criteria for selecting a car, but in any case, yes, the system is good and provides quality sound on par with most others available.

Controls are slightly harder to press - especially on the steering - by and large, I would rate it as any other system that is commercially available for say about 12-13K.

few more ... thou it might be silly but still ....can i attach usb pen drive to this music system provided i dont want it on the board.. piece of wire attached from behind some thing like that will do but it should work .. is it possible as it is possible if music systems are fitted from outside

well the music system is very basic only bass and treble controls.plays mp3's,audio cd's,am & fm.such a music system would cost you arround 8000 sans speakers outside.yes you can fix amplifiers,sub-woofers,etc.etc..but not advisable.when you decide to put such add on accessories to your music system you should make sure it has controls for it.for eg your sub-woofer could be controled by the system itself which is not possible with present one.

Yes - the music system is not having any such features as USB - the only added advantage it has is the steering mounted control. As rightly pointed out, the cost of it should not be more than 8000 without speakers / 12-13K with speakers.

 I will try and see if it is possible to attach the remote control of my pioneer HU with a rubber band onto the steering wheel - my very own steering mounted control ))

There is no remote control coming in with the Vxi/Vdi model though it has integrated music system. Dont think it is there even with Zxi/Zdi model as it has steering mounted controls. The output is good enough if you are not a high volume buff looking for a blast of a music.

Dont know on USB but yes u can definetly add amplifiers, sub woofers etc to the system.
