Viral,

Warm welcome. Congrats on your new car.

Please create a new thread under Audio/Video & Navigation Systems.

The link to create the new thread can be found near the bottom. Alternatively you may click here.

Please re-post your query over there. Discussing it here wont make much sense and it will create confusion also.

 Hi Ami!

          As per your advice I went thru polks front Components but I feel JBL have kinda more bass and Polk are high on treble,

So I decided to Go for JBL But now 508 C are avail instead of 608 C in GTO series ;

I have the foll Queries;

1) Whethet to Go for 508 C In I10 instead of 608 C

2) GT5 265 and GT5 650 are available in 6 Inches

Kindly Guide which are the best Front components among the above with JBL GTO 938 for Rear , Also which do not mandatorily require an amp

Also In my Budget Of 5 K for comps in any u suggest

Thanks in advance for your advice and prompt replies

1. 508C will fit in easily, 608C would need a spacer. Not much difference between them. So either of them is fine.

2. When you have GTO, why go for GT5.

in a budget of 5k - Bull/JBL GTO.

Ami!

U mean SQ wid GTO 508C will be same as 608C considering they are smaller, we have 6.5 inches slot for Front wont that be a problem.

Technically there will be a difference. However the difference of 10W RMS is not that significant.

If you cna manage 608C, then well and good. Bull 6.5'' will also be a good option.

hey all......

i am planning for a music system for my i-10 era...

my budget is around 15k including HU and speakers (and anything else if necessary)....

want to have additional options of playing cd-rw,dvd-rw,usb pen drive and i-pod...

which HU should I go for...I usually prefer mild music..not much loud... which kind of

speakers should I go for...

with a bit of survey I have chosen the following option...

HU: Pioneer 2190 or 4190 or 5190 (should I go for DVD compatibilty or not..??)

Speakers: In-door speakers (2 front and 2 rears)..all from JBL... (any idea about model to go for..??)

any other opinion is welcome...

Hey Ami!

         Thanks For all the advice on helping me to choose, also i wanna share my experience in buying the audio component

Regarding Speakers ;

As 608 C was not avail I have finally decided to take

Infinity Ref 6030CS For Front (RS 6.5 K wid B/W)

Jbl 947 For Rear (RS 3900 wid B/W)

AMP - Jbl GT5-S644 (Rs 5800 wid B/W)

I also wanna tell u guys i am placing order for the above wid auth distributor in Bombay

for JBL - Infinity so all the above wid B>W

Also , I am not getting DEH-6050 as they are saying that the model is old and phased out by pioneer, on the other hand i am getting FH-6050 Dbl Din for 9.4K , this also from an auth dist of Pioneer in Mumbai Named Autocop

Hey ami;

Kindly advise on the above setup also if the above mentioned HU will do justice to the speakers and Amp

Thanks

Regards

Tanisha

@Sayantan: Please create a new thread as there is a discussion going on here.

@Tanisha: 6050 1DIN is a 2008 model, so it wont be available readily. Instead you can look at 5150/7150. 6050 2DIN is a no-no from my side as it is only about looks.

Prices are all fine. do listen to the infinity before picking it up. You also get Hertz/Polk/Bull in that price. They are quite good.
