Yes, & No, I hvn't even seen my car

Since it was a loan arrangement, some time was wasted in all d formalities. All d payments were collected by d dealer from my house, as I hv holidays only on Sat n Sundays. Now, ur chk list will b very useful while taking delivery of d car. Later I will be getting d audio system as per specifications provided by u, frm Milan Subway, a place near Vile-Parle. Kya mujhe Kisi achhe din ka intezar karna chahiye car ki delivery lene ke liye? D wait is really killing me

i am finally getting my car this week (after a month long wait for sbi loan those guys really suck!!!)..i still haven't been able to decide upon my music system....... plz suggest me a good HU for about 7K-8K should i go for 1-din/ 2din (i was thinking of 2din pioneer 6050) and good speakers for about 4k a pair. will installing one in front door and 1 in rear give good output.... r there any 2 din available with front detachable panel...

Congrats on your new wheels.

There are 2-DIN players available with detachable face plates. Not VFM ones in the lower range.

HU - 6050 would come in your budget. - 8k
Speakers- JBL GTO 608C - Component speakers for front. - 4k
Rear - JBL GTO 938 - 3k - Oval co-axial speakers. 1k for Plank.

Adding an amplifier down the line would be good.

this will not come in the 8K price bracket-only the single DIN 6050 will.

-infact only very basic 2-DIN units are available for the price range and it would be better off with a single DIN unit.

Single DIN players are the normal sized players. Double DIN(2 DIN) player will be of double the size of single DIN.
