I am planning to buy Accent ece or honda city make 2002 model can it be ok to convert it into CNG please advice me.

FOR INSTALLATION
u shud hav following factors in mind
1- original made brand of kit
2- best quality cylinder
3- emulator and advancer matching
4- neat fitting
5- results shud be guarenteed.

must remember that before intallation of kit go to a mechanic use se kaho ki mein cng lagwa raha hooon

or mujhe apni diggi mein chassis se fitted do pattiyaan weld karwani hain

taki cng cylinder sahi se rest kar sake

nahin toh car ki body crack hone lagegi

okie

remember that

or experiance and and then do it

like me

who suffered okie

it will only take 500 ruppess only

in a nutshell, just go the the best possible CNG retrofitter,  these days the Best retroffiters also sign a deal with Companies such as MAruti, Hyundai, etc. These companies get CNG fitted on NEw cars which they sell as CNG-variants.

These guys also give a warranty of about a year or so.

Cheers !

Hi Raj, u r awesome dude, u have got a lot of knowledge of CNG/LPG, i really appreciate that...... I have few queries, i believe that you could solve them, so plz. take a look at them......

i had visited autogas india at their gurgaon branch abt lovato cng kit. they told me that open loop kit with inbuilt emulator is for Rs. 26.5K and the closed loop kit is for Rs. 36.5K. When i asked the guy there abt the segregrated prices of lambda and advancer then he mixed the things and said that lovato lambda is for rs. 10K and it has inbuilt advancer and as an offer they are giving additional map advancer for free. But when i checked to one another agency they told me that lovato doesnt make advancer. also the other agency guy said to me that lovato lambda doesnt contain advancer in itself and costs only 4K. I m now bit confused about this map advancer thing and even i dounbt that the lambda system is having inbuilt advancer. I would be greatful to you if you could help me out of this confusion.

Also do you have any idea of their prices?

Regards

Amit

HI Amit

yaa i can tell that the price for cng installtion is 23000rs(tomasatto achille) in noida car market

tez engineering named shop which provide govt approved cng. its has one emulator plus one mpfi button without advancer and lambda

advancer and lambda will cost u 2000 to 2500 rs.

and if u will buy the company one then the lambda will cost u 5500rs

and advancer is of 2000 rs.

rc endorsement for delhi number is 3500 rs

and for up number is 2500 rs

so my advice is go for this kit tomosatto achille good kit

and install an advancer and lambda of 2500 rs wale

that hv 1 year warranty too

and the company wale hv 2 year warranty

more ovr mpfi switch of this kit has 5 year warranty

so it will cost u around 23000(kit +emultor +mpfi switch) + 2500 (lambda and advancer) + 3500 or 2500 rs (rc endorsement )

and u can also hv rendi lenzo kit which is of about 21000 rs samr criterion for this tooo

and one more thing most of the kits are open lmbda make them close

as far as i know

means lambda make kit go on computerised setting of cng flow

if not then mechanical settings r done

which is usually seen in most of the vehices

as it is more stable

so go for it

and for futher query

ask me

hey tell me ur owned car and where r u from =introduction plz

thnx in advance

Hi Guys,

Wanna throw some light on the RC endorsement. The official charges for the same is Rs620 and two chakkars to the authority. first visit : car verification and second visit after 15days to get the new RC .. simple !!

So get your paperwork done from the CNG fitter and go yourself, would save you a hell )

Yes Jupi is right ,

I also done RC endorsement my self & RTO charge me only Rs 615/-

& in delhi Broker usually charge 3000 to 3500/- for RC endorsement. Which i don't thing it is having tht much worth.

You only need to attest all your photocopies(Pan Card , ID proof , Residense proof , Pollution , Insurence ) from guztted officer along with the CNG paper provided by kit fitter.

thnx amit

myself raj lives in east delhi dilshad garden

m doing mbbs from vmmc (safdarjung hospital)

interested in all tech and comp stuffs

thnx for the reply

definately uwill feel some diff of fuel conversion but its better u choose heavy engine vehicle for cng fitting as there will be less reduction in power as compared to smaller cars

and about the mileage its the same

for 150cc engine and small cars

15 to 18 is the avereage

small cars take it to 20 thats it

on high way both gives 20 21

mine gives 15 to 18 depending upon the road ways with ac or without ac

thanks raj,

newys, i have 1 more query...... is it essential to go for closed loop system in one go or if it is also possible to go for open loop cng kit first and then go for lambda and advancer after some time........

which one is the better way and would it incur any sort of complexity or compromises in quality?????
