Scorpio vs Safari

That is my own individual perception that i find scorpio better than safari, though i had said before that feature wise safari is better.

Scorpio is not at all shame on SUV/MUV, it is good value for money . the riding quality is far better than Safari.

more over why u forget the price, scorpio base version is available in 725000 on Delhi with 50, 000 discount what more u expect from a company.

Moreover if you really want the best driving pleasure and u are Amir Khan of Ghazini than you should try Hummer, which cost 1.25 million $ or the Cayenne Turbo S which cost around 1.12 million $.

I still dont get how 'Cruise Control' adds to safety.

As per my understanding it is something for convienience and add a lil FE. The side-effect on the same is that it affects/compromises on safety.

Scorpio is definitely the best between scorpio and safari. Scorpio is the real off-roader. It stood third in Rally Dos Sertoes in Brazil and is getting world recognition. Check this video of Scorpio at Dos Sertoes Rally. I doubt Safari to be capable of doing something like this.

Tata safari scores the best in class in looks. Other features, yes Scorpio leads.

I think I have been following this thread since it was first created. And till today after so many months the debate is still ON for who is best, Scorpio or Safari. Even experts from different Auto magzines like Overdrive, Autocar etc have done this comparision and have not been able to decide which is the best. One is better than other in some aspects and vice versa.

In my opinion, its completely individuals choice and comfort. And its true with all the cars or bikes or any vehicle for that matter. You cannot judge any car, leave alone safari or scorpio, as who is best or better. They are good in their own aspects. It all depends on your need and comfort level as to which is best. And as Pankaj has said in many posts to do a Test Drive With Family to decide which is better.

I guess here we can just discuss he pros and cons of these cars but not judge as to which is best. Few people also commented that you should go for Hummer and all. I think its ridiculous. I may sound harsh, but do you think that this point was anywhere related to the topic being discussed here? Again, its about personal comfort, ability to handle the car, ability to purchase the car and requirements that decide which car is BEST SUITED FOR HIM.

I too own Safari and I know all the pros and cons of this car. I test drove Scorpio too before buying Safari so I know the Pros and Cons of this car too. But finally it was my comfort that I felt Safari is better for me. There might be people who might have different opinion.
