Hows it going with the Safari LX Dicor..I really liked yoru post and the details .....I am in teh same boat as you were.. would you still recommend me to by the LX..2.2..(..and tell me Honestly..!!) ..do write back on the mileage.. the noise..you comfort with the drive.. if you took it on long drives.. what could haev been better.. and what you like..

...the other option that i have is the Scorpio -  the Base model LX..i see happeier custtomers of the Scorpio...but my heart says SAFARI...

Look wise and feature wise safari scores better, but engine, riding quality and cruising on high speed Scorpio m-Hawk is far better.

New Scorpio m-Hawh is avaulable in 4 versions LX, SLE, VLX-III & VLX-IV

and it ranges from 7.25 lakh till 9.34 lakh.

same as safari Dicor 2.2 Litre

Among the above 2 Scorpio m-Hawk is my choice.

though the best SUV is Ford Endeavour, but it is not at all value for money, it very expensive and has high maintenance cost.

If you want a MUV than u may proceed for Xylo or Innova, Innova is better than Xylo but if you consider cost than Xylo scores better. xylo is more quicker than Innova.

Till 30 kph innova leads, after 30 till 60 Xylo shows its pick up, and left innova far behind, and after 100 again the story changes.

Are the Xylo's and Innova's gonna run on NASCAR rally? Speed is least important. Performance, VFM, maintanance cost etc., are the main criteria.

Scorpio is a shame on SUV's when it comes to control on high speeds. This is where Safari & Innova(although an MUV) scores.

This is quite an old thread-in excistance before the launch of the Xylo. There is no need to draw the innova and the xylo into this thread(for obivious reasons).

Both the scorpio and safari are good SUV's but not great!

In scorpio there is also cruise control option, for futher safety.

at the spped of 100 also if u press the accelerator, than also u will feel the push in scorpio,

This lacks in safari, at higher speed safari is not so great.

But than also if you have money than Ford Endeavour is the best, it is only 1875 Kg as compare to the Scorpio m-Hawk-2510 Kg and Safari2.2 Dicor -2040 Kg.

As per my individual decesion is concerned i will rank Ford Endeavour even above CRV and Outlander.
