Tata spares are not known to be expensive - though Mahindra spares may be cheaper.  In any case, investment in spares generally begins gradually after 2/3 years, and therefore, it should not be the criterion for selecting a particular car - the car should preferably be of your first choice.

Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.

I own Ford Ikon for 6 years and really enjoyed the car stability even at high speed at 160km but the low chasis always distrubed me on off roads. So i am looking for the SUV, did the test drive of Safari 2.2VTT, Scorpio 2.6 as well Mhawk 2.2. Now i want to know which one is low maintainace cost and high resale value. If you could suggest it will help me to decide the best one. Thanks in advance!

The Scorpio Is rich in features, (the new Mhawk takes a step further) besides the fit and finish of the Scorpio is good.

The Safari Dicor 2.2 on the other hand is spacious and rock solid the features may not entice you though but it is amazing in stability and its of roading capabilities are way much better than the Scorpio (especially with the shift-on-the-fly 4x4 option) so pick you choice accordingly

Cheers

So far experience was not so nice. I opted for black but due to some problem with the dealer side I got the cycus grey.

Poor quality checked did from tata motors before it shipped to the dealer.

Found the TATA emblem and 2.2 VTT Stickers missing in the vehicle. Also when I washed the vehicle water was leaking from the room inside the passenger compartment. All the door giving rotting noise while driving moreover the dummy cabs for the doors and other parts were missing.

The vehicle pickup, stability and performance is very good.

I changed 255/65/16 Michelin tiers next day and installed autocop security system thru the dealer and found they don’t have knowledge on fixing the immobilizer and front/rear fog lamps for the safari.

Need to check the mileage, so far filling only with shell….
