The Tata Sumo Grande is the new car launched by Tata at the Auto Expo.It has 2.2ltr Dicor engine that gives 16-20kmpl of Diesel.
It has  Dual AC with separate louvers for the second and third row seats.
Tilt adjustable steering.
Height Adjustable driver's seat.
Electric ports for both front and rear passengers.
Puddle lams.
Comfortable 5-speed shift gear
Speakers on doors.
Comes fitted with Alpine CD/MP3 player with 6 speakers and a USB port
Large clear lens headlamps and a cutaway air dam in the front.
It has the smallest turning radius for a car in the Suv category 5.25 m.
Fully reclining 2nd row seats.
Power steering.
Child lock
Comes in three variants :Lx,Ex and Gx.
Price: Delhi Ex-Showroom is Rs 6.55 Lakh for the Sumo Grande LX [Base model] and Rs 7.49 Lakh for the Sumo Grande GX [top end]

I think the biggest change has been on the looks. At auto expo it looked more like a Scorpio than a Sumo. Given this new look people might consider it for personal use as well rather than just as a taxi. the interiors looked pretty spacious and much more comfortable than good old sumo. However, that was auto expo, I am not too sure if the models with dealers will look so plush as the one at Auto expo

It is said to be good.  But only when it's on road, we can actually say whether, or not, it's better than Scorpio & Safari.

We 'll be able to decide if the Grande is better than the Safari and Scorpio soon as the Sumo Grande is all set to release in February.
