Maruti Suzuki To Launch A-Star Automatic on the 15th of August

Maruti Suzuki India Limited will celebrate India’s 63rd Independence Day Anniversary by launching the A-Star Automatic. The A-Star Automatic variant will most likely sport a four-speed transmission and although the price of the Maruti A-Star automatic is still unannounced, the company will most probably price it as aggressively as they can to give the Hyundai i10 Automatic some stiff competition.

Hi sadanilam

Did you get  the 2nd concession related to road tax (from Aurangabad!). I also heard these RTO people trouble a lot. YOu were also talking about the Rjasthan court verdict towards refunds of road registration. Can you  please share more details? I am still not able to decide which auto gear car is worth and better.

Best wishes to you and any one who can reply !

Alongwith earlier models, The year has seen launch of several autogear version car, those willl be useful for people here. Mainly

Swift desire, I-20, Micra, Skoda, Ford etc. I was planning for i-20 diesel but i did not find any. I have been keen on Hyundai, inview of there long expertise and experience in auto-gear car. I want to execute the purcahse of car (autogear for me) by availing

1) Exemption in excise duty (i heard it has increase this budget session)

2) Exemption of RTO tax(whihc is to be done at state office i.e. in Hyderaba for me)

As I know, I have to get the desirable certificate, contact manufacturer to suggest the dealer to handle my kind of issue, contact the dealer, take/book a model with the information that I will be taking this kind of concession, then send the letter (and other documents) to min of heavy industry and so on. But at dealer level itself I am not finding good response and mostly likely they are not aware of such conssession as they say.

I am exploring if someone from Hyderabad has availed this concession then if they can share the procedurial details to get this in Hyderabad (I am from Maharashtra so find difficulty). I would be very grateful if some person already done has recently done this excercise to purchase the car meant for handicapp. ( I donot want to alter, as I autogear car suits me)

*To share with you, I have been trying to do this accordingly, i took certificate (1 year back), but unable to buy due to so much of friction and my also my busy schedule. I guess I will have to take the certificate again.

Please share the info

Thanking you all

Regards

Nagender, why you have put this message so many times, are you a user of this. If not, then it is going to mislead. I have information about A*, it was having a problem related to clutch cable and other related issues. People here would need  trouble free car, so please reply back with more info on this .

Thanks
