I think the Auto Expo in Delhi (10-Jan to 17-Jan) would be a place where lot of things to come would be more clear. I am hopeful that someone in Delhi would be passing valid information on Carwale.

Regards, Bhushan

Yes, that's true.  Hope Karan visits the Auto Expo & is able to pass valuable informations on CarWale.

Karan, are you listening? Please do.

i have a tdi ls since 2007 which has done 84000kms running.

all long, the fuel economy is 13-15 kmpl in city and 20-21 on highways.

so far i had to replace its timing belt once and but that was after 82000kms of running, so no issues with that, and its air filter once at the same time

car feels very heavy on the 2nd-3rd gear in speed band of 30-40 but is very good on highways.

interiors are not that classy but since this being a vfm product one cannot expect it to be a beauty contest participant, but it is a very comfortable drive.

all and all, i must say that i am a happy tata customer.

dicor guys can share their reviews here

Surendra,

I own a indigo cs TDI for 3 yrs now, it gives me 15kmpl on highways & 12 kmpl in city. I have never got 20 kmpl on my TDI. It is not possible to get such mileage in TATA TDI engine.

this is the mileage i have been getting, a lot depends on how you drive. be very gradual with increase of speeds and shifting of gears and see the change

you can also find dicor xl users getting similar mileage. one thing that i would like to mention is that i had never got my vehicle serviced from Tata Authorised Service Stations in all these 3 years, i do it from a non tata mechanic.
