Thanks Sri, I think the cost of Chevy Captiva ex-showroom is between Rs 17-18 Lakhs and on road it will be much higher than the Ford. This is the price quoted by CarWale site. Besides, the side profile looks almost like the new Honda CRV right?

i would ssuggest you to wait coz captiva will be a better buy than the Ford endevour , just wait for some time dude , have  a test drive , come to Mangalore and have a test drive , i think u r from Madikeri , you can go to Frontline Automobiles ( chevy dealer ) mlore , and then decided
Cheers,
Sri

I guess after the auto expo, u have many more Options..... d chevy captiva is a good car n Hyundai Santa Fe which will be out very soon, may be mid 2008 or so. and as far as for the Ford Endeavour 4x4 i think it is still in the indian market.

Anyone has any idea when they are launching the new 2008 model Ford Endeavour. My booking is pending since last November.

I have bought the new Ford Endeavour Thunder, an excellent choice, terrific power and all the goodies but travelling at the rear third seat is a night mare, it is too low, bumpy and hardly any head clearance, wish Ford would do something about this, or at least convert them to two independent seats facing each other or something like that. Except for this the massive powered SUV is the best for both rough and express highways.
